Adrian Kendrick’s Personal Statement

I describe myself as an African American woman who is driven and determined to succeed. I am determined to be successful and to not to become another negative statistic for my generation. I’m not the status quo. I refuse to be happy with average work, and I will prove to my generation, community and family that you can live out your dreams and with God all things are possible to anyone that believes.

My goal is to become a self-made millionaire, impact my generation in a positive way, continue to become the best journalist that I can be and branch out into entrepreneurship. To become all I can be, I believe that I need a good education. Anyone can go to college but I would like to finish the task by earning my degree. My goals are within reach. With the help of Isaiah & Isaiah Help Organization I am on my way to obtaining all my goals.

Every day I walk through the University of Indianapolis saying yes to my dreams. With this scholarship I feel that Isaiah & Isaiah Help Organization is investing into the guaranteed success of my future. Why, because I am focused, driven and I have already seen myself accomplishing my goals. I have a vision and no one can and no one thing will stop me.
